Posse Grounds Park in Sedona Arizona is a large (nearly 80 acre) park that offers plentiful recreational and relaxation opportunities for everyone from families with young children, to teenagers and adults. The park received its name because the area used to be utilized as a staging ground for the Sheriff's Posse.

Today visitors can enjoy the many different areas of the park. On the western side of Posse Grounds Road you’ll find three large fields, two of which are baseball/softball and one that is multipurpose. A basketball court, tennis & pickleball, bocce ball and volleyball courts are also located here.

A group of 10 covered and landscaped ramadas are also on the western side of the park. These are available to be reserved for parties or special events. A playground is located next to the ramadas, and a unique fitness trail takes off from near here and offers four different workout stations.

The eastern side of the park offers miles of hiking and biking trails. The bike park area is quite impressive and features a tot loop, pump park, flow trail, tech flow trail, bump jump trail and dual slalom track. A skate park is located here too.

Lastly, another impressive feature found in the park is the outdoor performance venue known as the pavilion. This facility offers amazing 270-degree views and won an Award of Merit in 2017 from Engineering News-Record. It is available to rent for private and public events.
