Aspen Group Campground is located along scenic Rock Creek, a few miles up Rock Creek Road. The surrounding area is quite beautiful, and recreational opportunities abound nearby. Brook, brown and rainbow trout can be caught in the creek that flows beside camp, and plentiful hiking opportunities can be found further up the canyon. It’s recommended to first look at Palisade Group Camp or Rock Creek Group Camp, as they are a bit nicer and closer to the hiking trails. But if they are reserved, Aspen Group Camp is still a great option.

Aspen Group Campground has one group site that can accommodate 25 people and up to 5 trailers or RVs. Picnic tables, fire rings and bear lockers (for safe food storage) are found here. The campground also has flush toilets and potable water. No hookups are available.

Aspen Group Camp is open seasonally, usually May through September. Reservations are highly recommended (click here).
