Bishop City Park is very impressive for being a city park. This 44 acre park - located in downtown Bishop, California - is an excellent place to spend an afternoon relaxing or recreating. Perhaps the best part about the park is the stunning views of the high Sierra Nevada peaks to the West and the White Mountains to the East.

Centrally located in the park is a charming small pond. A footbridge leads to a gazebo on the water. This is a great place to enjoy the park. There are also a few areas and benches located around the pond.

There are walking paths around the park that lead to all the amenities including picnic areas with tables and grills, playgrounds, horseshoe pits, a volleyball area, tennis courts and a skate park.

There is also a public pool within the park, an outdoor fitness center and a bocce court. You’ll find 4 baseball fields and a dog park on the outskirts of the park.

Lastly there is a community garden and arboretum within the park. As you can see, Bishop City Park offers a lot. Be sure to stop by the next time you are in town.
