Borrego Palm Canyon is one of the four developed campgrounds within Anza Borrego Desert State Park, and is the only campground that offers tent sites in Borrego Valley. There are 50 RV sites with full hookups, 65 tent sites (three of which are handicap accessible), and five group sites. Each site has a fire ring, grill, table, and ample room for parking. Many sites also have shade ramadas. Dispersed throughout the campground are several shower and restroom facilities, potable water stations, and picnic tables. In addition, there are seasonal campfire programs led by park rangers. As an International Dark Sky Park, this is a perfect place for stargazing and astrophotography.

The campground is located near the Anza Borrego Desert State Park Visitor Center, which is accessible via a short trail. Other hikes that begin in the campground include the Borrego Palm Canyon Trail and the Panoramic Overlook Trail.
