Burnt Ranch Campground offers 16 fairly secluded campsites and is located just off Highway 299. The campground is near the Trinity River, but unfortunately there is no river access from the campground. Instead you’ll have to drive to one of the nearby day use areas.

The campground is open seasonally, and dates may vary from year to year. During the summer months Burnt Ranch is a good choice for those that are looking for an affordable campsite that doesn’t need to be right on the river.

All campsites are first come, first served with no reservations possible. Amenities are very limited – there are no hookups or drinking water available. A vault toilet is provided. Additionally, all campsites have a picnic table and fire ring. Some sites also have a bear box for safe food storage and/or a Klamath Oven for cooking.
