Although not located directly on the shores of Lake Trinity, Bushytail Campground is a great choice for campers - especially those in groups or with a need for electric hookups. This “multi-group” campground has single, double, triple and quad sites - some of which have electric and water hookups. A short drive down from the campground is the lake and the Minersville Public Boat Ramp ($10 fee).

The campground itself is situated in a grove of tall Douglas firs and Ponderosa pines. Bushytail is open seasonally, usually mid May through the end of October. Reservations are available online by clicking here.

As mentioned, Bushytail Campground has single, double, triple and quad sites. Prices range accordingly from $24-$95/night. Many of these sites have electric and water hookups in addition to the standard amenities including picnic tables, fire rings, grills and bear boxes for safe food storage. In addition there are flush toilets, drinking water and two coin-operated showers within the campground.
