East Fork is a lovely Forest Service campground located just a short distance off Highway 299, and only about 5 miles from the small town of Willow Creek. The campsites here are arguably the best of any campground off Highway 299. A lush green forest envelops the camp and makes it feel way more remote than it actually is. Additionally, the East Fork of Willow Creek flows right through the campground and every single campsite is located along this lovely stream. Spending a night or two at East Fork Campground is strongly recommended.
The campground is open seasonally and dates vary year to year. For the current 2021 season they are open June 15th through September 30th. Sites are first come, first served with no reservations possible. However, there is one group site that can accommodate up to 25 people and can be reserved by clicking here.
All 10 campsites at East Fork are fantastic, with each having a lovely backdrop against the creek. You’ll find a picnic table and fire ring at each site. Otherwise the campground doesn’t have much to offer besides a vault toilet. No drinking water or hookups.
Although the campsites will fit mid-sized trailers and RVs, the narrow and winding road may cause difficulty for those with larger setups. Use caution as there is no RV turnaround.
