Ellery Lake Campground is a high elevation (9500') campground along Highway 120 not far from Yosemite National Park's eastern entrance gate.

The Forest Service operated campground contains 14 basic sites, with no reservations accepted. The campground is strictly first come, first serve, with a tendency to get crowded during the tourist season when campgrounds inside the park fill up.

Each site has a picnic table, fire pit and food locker. Firewood is available for sale from the camp host.

Between sites 13 and 14, a short foot path leads to the edge of Ellery Lake, a small alpine lake that sees very few visitors.

Two vault toilets serve the campground, and potable water is available.

The campground operates seasonally, with all of Highway 120 closing following the first snow of the year and typically remaining closed until warmer seasonal conditions return.
