One of two cabins operated and maintained by Friday’s RV Retreat, the Pond House is a cozy accommodation. This one-bedroom, one-bathroom cabin is all you’ll need to relax for the weekend in front of the Squaw Creek ponds that are a part of this 450-acre “fly-fishing” ranch and campground.  The ponds are well stocked with rainbow, brown, and eastern brook trout, but be prepared to pony-up as Bob Friday asks that you pay their $100 per-day, per-rod fishing fee just to cast your line.  If you aren't an angler, you can just sit back and enjoy the views of the pond and nearby Mount Shasta for free.

Should the Pond House be reserved, ask about the three-bedroom cabin also available for rent.

If you are in the McCloud area, hike on the McCloud River Three Falls Trail, or from Friday’s hike an easy 3.3 miles south on the Squaw Valley Creek Trail, accessed from the Cabin Creek Campsites.
