Tucked under a Jeffrey Pine forest on the edge of a beautiful meadow, Grover Hot Springs State Park Campground offers campers a tranquil, family-friendly Sierra setting and convenient access to Grover Hot Springs. The park area that the campground is located within covers much of the surrounding alpine valley and includes a small hot springs and swimming facility loved by locals and visitors alike. The hot springs are the area's main attraction, but campers will find plenty of other outdoor recreation options, including fishing on local creeks and the nearby Carson River, hiking, and mountain biking.

The full campground of 75 sites is open from mid-May through September. Showers and restrooms are provided. Fifty of the sites can accommodate RVs up to 27 feet. During the winter months and the offseason, a smaller portion of the campground remains open. Dogs are permitted in the campground, but they must remain on leash.

Some of the hiking highlights in the park include a 2.5-mile round-trip hike to a series of small waterfalls. If you are up for more of a challenge, a scenic 10-mile round trip hike up the valley to Burnside Lake is a fantastic option. Adjacent to the campground, you will also find a nice trail that loops through the meadow.

The camping fee does not include the hot springs admission charge of $7 for adults and $5 for children, but a morning or early evening soak is highly recommended. Kids will love the developed pools, including a warm swimming pool. There are showers and changing rooms provided at the hot spring facility. There is a a half-mile Hot Spring Trail connecting the campground to the pools.
