A must for travelers in southern Mendocino County, Gualala River Redwood Park has a little something for everyone. A full list of amenities includes a camp store, showers, Wi-Fi, and electricity in in every site. Swimming holes and a lazy summer river make family time in camp a great option. There are large and small group campsites, playgrounds, and heaps of fascinating old-growth redwoods. This little bend in the river is exposed to the southern sky, which adds to the park's summer appeal.

The campground is under a canopy of incredible redwoods. Tall and robust, these trees have connected with the river valley watershed to grow to spectacular heights and are certainly one of the big attractions here. The campsites are large, though not exactly private. There are some nice little bonus features like a fish cleaning station, and the walking trails in the campground are also well worth the exploration.
