Those lucky enough to get a space at the 11-site Gull Lake Campground will enjoy its aspen grove and lakeside location. A favorite of anglers, Gull Lake is the smallest of the four major bodies on June Lake Loop.

This small and accessible campground is equipped with potable water, bear boxes, and full restrooms. Just half a mile from the tiny resort town of June Lake, camping here is not exactly roughing it.

Gull Lake is very close to the highway, and traffic can be heard from camp. RVs of up to 30 feet can be accommodated. Tackle, a boat launch, and rentals are available at the nearby marina.

Gull Lake Campground closes in winter.
