June Lake Beach is a stunningly gorgeous place to enjoy one of the most beautiful lakes in the Eastern Sierra. The crystal clear waters of June Lake are set against a backdrop of rugged Sierra Nevada Peaks, and a large sandy beach is an inviting place to relax or recreate.

There are two medium-sized parking areas at the beach, with vault toilets and potable water located here as well. The large sand beach is perfect for relaxing in the sun, enjoying lunch at one of the several picnic tables, or playing a game of beach volleyball.

The water itself may look quite inviting but can be fairly chilly during the early summer months! Nonetheless, June Lake is a fantastic spot to swim, SUP, kayak or canoe. Note that no dogs are allowed on June Lake Beach. The area is quite popular, so expect crowds (especially on summer weekends).
