June Lake Campground is a humble campground, with 28 basic camp sites, set in an ideal location near the shore of June Lake and within walking distance of restaurants and markets of the town of June Lake.
Nestled amongst pine and aspen trees, the campground feels isolated despite being only a row of trees away from a marina and boat launch area and neighboring homes. A campground host on site has firewood bundles for sale. Each site has a picnic table, fire pit, and food locker to keep food from bears that wander the area.
The site is located in a scenic area, sites have a good amount of privacy, and water and a flush bathroom building sit centrally in the campground. There are a good number of hiking and mountain biking trails surrounding the campground.
Being a popular stay amongst the boating crowd, there is a 14 day limit for stays at June Lake Campground.
The campground, along with most places on the June Lake Loop close during periods of heavy snow In the winter time.
