Lakeside Beach is one of the finest beaches on Lake Tahoe. This privately owned beach is extremely well maintained and is fully gated. Stunning views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountains are to be had from the beach. The only drawback to Lakeside Beach is the hefty entrance fees that are charged during summer months. From Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend a $25/per person entrance fee is charged, and a capacity limit of 200 people is in effect. Thankfully the beach is also open and free to visit outside of these summer months.

Lakeside Beach is an excellent place to relax and enjoy the beautiful sandy shores of Lake Tahoe. Breakwaters are in place to create a calm area for swimming. Boat, jet ski and paddle board rentals are available at the adjacent Lakeside Marina. Umbrellas and chairs can also be rented. The Beach House Restaurant is located here as well, and other amenities including picnic tables, volleyball, a playground and restrooms are available.
