Lovers Point is a 4.4-acre park located near the tip of the Monterey Bay in Pacific Grove and is one of the better spots in the area to have a picnic. The park has well attended turf grass, picnic tables, and barbecue pits. Many people come to climb out on the rocks and catch a vantage point of the bay. Geologically, it is one of the only east-facing points on the West Coast where you can see the sun rise over the ocean. For this reason, photographers and plein air painters come here for opportunities to capture the park's beauty.

The park is connected to Lovers Point Beach, a popular sport for swimming, kayaking, SUPing and diving. Water sport rentals and food are on site, so you can easily spend the day here. If you are in the area near the end of July, come join the Feast Of Lanterns, a 100-year strong annual celebration that culminates on Lovers Point.
