This public park on the shore of the lake is a great place to relax or exercise with the family while staying in Big Bear. There is a public swim beach (though it is only open when the lake level is high enough). Other amenities include playgrounds, tennis courts, ball fields, snack bars, restrooms, picnic tables, and grills. Inviting views from the shoreline look over the center of the lake and the north shore.

Two adjacent parks are within easy walking distance: Ski Beach and the Bark Park for dogs. All this is only a few blocks from the main street in town, which makes it an easy destination if getting around on foot or bicycle. You can launch kayaks and paddle boards from the swim beach. For larger watercraft, you can use one of the nearby marinas.
