Millpond Recreation Area is a spacious Inyo County park with a large variety of recreational opportunities.

Spread out on over 120 acres, the recreation area has playgrounds, picnic gazebos, tennis courts, a disc golf course, a pond for fishing or swimming (power boats aren't allowed on the water here), archery center, softball fields, horseshoe pits, rental facilities, and lies adjacent to Brown's Millpond Campground. The whole park sits in a valley surrounded by the picturesque mountains of the Eastern Sierra with the peaks of the White Mountains jutting up to the east.

Set just 6 miles outside of the town of Bishop, Millpond Recreation Area is a family friendly environment that hosts events and organized sports leagues, and allows rentals in the park facilities.

The pond is about 10 acres, allows swimming and fishing with proper licenses. A small ADA accessible dock sits on one end. The park also has grills spread throughout the grounds and has lots of shade tree coverage.

Millpond Recreation Area is open daily from 6am-10pm.
