Mono Lake Vista Point is a small parking area at a turnaround with panoramic views of Mono Lake, Tioga Crest and Yosemite's eastern edge, and the town of Lee Vining.

Perched on a peak looking out across the area, the parking area provides a great spot to stop for a picnic, or to take some food bought at the MobilMart Deli right down the road. A Clampers historical plaque is mounted in stone and a small lawn and water spigot are also up here.

During the summer season when the MobilMart hosts events and the Highway 120 corridor becomes a popular route for locals traveling up to Yosemite, the parking lot is often full of younger travelers and the seasonal residents of the Eastern Sierra.

In all, the Vista Point gives a great perspective of this unique corner of the state, and provides a good spot to have a snack and stretch your legs before continuing onward...
