P-Bar Flats Campground is a first come first serve primitive backcountry campground in Los Padres National Forest that is open and accessible to hiking and biking only. This spacious campground is tucked amongst oak trees and located in a beautiful meadow.

The campground features picnic tables, fire pits, grills and toilets. There is limited cell coverage and no potable water however, water may be filtered from a nearby stream. Campers are advised to check with the Santa Barbara Ranger District regarding water levels and current fire restrictions before heading out.

P-Bar Flats has four campsites that are nicely spread out within an open forest of Oak Trees. With lots of hiking trails and bikeable dirt roads nearby, this campground is a great place to seek solitude and adventure outside of the city. In addition, Big Caliente Hot Springs is just a four mile hike away!
