Spanish Creek Day Use Area is a typically un-crowded area within Spanish Creek Campground with a swimming hole and several tables located along the creekside.

While small, the day use area has a swimming hole located along a deep calm curve in Spanish Creek at the base of the forested mountainside. A rope swing  hangs over the water, giving visitors a chance to make the leap into the deep creek channel. Several tables sit beneath the oak tree canopy, allowing for picnics beside the water.

In addition, just outside the campground along the highway is an area overlooking the Spanish Creek Bridge, with some interpretive signs offering a historical context of the area.

There is a $10 day use fee, payable at the self pay stations in the campground or at the day use parking area.

Vault toilets and water spigots are located at the day use parking area.
