Royal Gorge Cross County Ski Resort's Stagecoach Trail is a beginner-rated trail that travels over flat-to-rolling terrain and acts as a connector between the Kidd Lake / Wiesel Trails in the resort's westernmost network of trails and the central network lying between Palisades Peak (7,559 feet) and the Summit Station.

At just 1.6 miles in length, the trail's eastern side ends at the junction of the Palisades Trail - a beginner-rated trail that stretches from the Summit Lodge to the Wilderness Hut - and the Snow Mountain Trail - an intermediate-rated trail that traces Palisades Peak's western fringe to the Snow Mountain Hut and viewpoint.

The Stagecoach Trail does abut a hillside, which gives its topography some diversity, but in general it is a scenic and forested route that veers into an open field connecting two sections of the resort's trail networks.

A map of the resort's trail can be seen here.
