Tree of Heaven Campground is located along the beautiful Klamath River, just off Highway 96 and not far from Interstate 5. Chinese immigrants lived and farmed on this stretch of land along the Klamath during the 1800s. They brought with them a tree from their homeland called the Tree of Heaven for which the campground is named. You can find one of these trees toward the far end of the campground along with a small informative sign.

There are 21 campsites at Tree of Heaven. Sites are partially shaded. Unfortunately there is little privacy to be found between campsites. You will find a picnic table and fire ring at each site. There are also vault toilets and potable water throughout the campground.

There is a great day use area located at Tree of Heaven as well. Here users will find space to picnic, a short interpretive trail, volleyball and horseshoes. There is also a boat ramp here for those looking to raft the river.
