To most people, Wedding Rock is simply a massive rock sitting on the edge of the vast Pacific Ocean and an awesome viewpoint. From the top of this rock you can look along the rugged coast of Patrick's Point State Park and even see Big Lagoon County Beach and Agate Beach in the distance. To others, however, this location holds a special place in their heart, for it is where they first committed their life to another person over the sound of crashing waves. Ever since the first caretaker of the park was married here, hundreds of couples have come to do the same. Upon climbing the few steps up to the rock, visitors will notice the sturdy rock walls and floors that provide the perfect place for a quaint wedding. The more adventurous individuals sometimes scale the rock to stand on the very top, gaining a 360-degree view of their surroundings. If you choose to seek out this special view, be sure to remain on the rock and not damage nearby plants by stepping on them.

As visitors walk down the short path to the rock, take a glance to the left. Here a steep face rises from the rocky shore up the side of Wedding Rock. Seasoned rock climbers can sometimes be seen tackling this rock face while the ocean waves crash nearby and the spray cools their bodies. Coastal access can also be found nearby by following the Wedding Rock Coastal Access adventure.
