William Kent Campground is located in a residential neighborhood just a little ways south of Tahoe City, California. Beautiful Lake Tahoe is directly across the street from the campground, and a small market can be found here as well.

William Kent offers 81 individual campsites, including 3 yurt sites. The campsites are surrounded by large pine and fir trees and offer plenty of shade. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring with grate, and bear box for safe food storage. No hookups are available. The yurt sites  can fit a family of 5-6 and are furnished with a futon and bunk beds.

Restrooms with flushing toilets and water are located throughout the campground. No showers. Reservations are available here and are highly recommended. Note that a 2 night minimum stay is required on weekends, and a 3 night minimum stay on holidays.
