Deep in the Rampart Range in the southern front range of Colorado is a gem of a campground for those who love all things water--kayaking, tubing, fishing and just plain river contemplation. As the only campground along the South Platte River that allows RVs, this campground fills up fast, so reservations are highly recommended.

Located just a quarter of a mile from the Deckers fishing resort and general store, this campground is otherwise far from civilization. The sites are scattered on a small slope above the river with several sites right on the river and many more with a view of the water. There are the typical national forest amenities--vault toilets and drinking water. Privacy is at a minimum, and so is shade in this sparse ponderosa pine forest, but the access to the river makes up for it. World-class fishing and a variety of paddling options nearby make this a great place for active families.

Hello, I am planning a June trip to Lone rock, and can not find the map with each site location, any suggestions for 2 spots near the water ?

I believe the cost per night is $22, not $122. https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/231877
