Earning its name for the panoramic views of a myriad of Colorado's most visited parks such as Horseshoe Park, Beaver Meadows, Moraine Park, Little Tuxedo Park, and parts of Estes Park, Many Parks Curve Overlook is a must-not-miss on a scenic tour of the Centennial State.

Trail Ridge Road, on which lies the turn out to Many Parks Curve Overlook, is the highest contiguous highway in the United States. With just over 8 miles of road exceeding 11,000 feet and a maximum elevation soaring at 12,183 feet, the motorway is a marvel in itself, with Many Parks Curve adding a spectacular stop on a summertime road trip.

From the outlook, Long's Peak (14,255 feet) and the closer Deer Mountain (10,013 feet) dominate the mountainscape. Glacially sculpted valleys plunge below, making for a stark and breathtaking scene. For such an impressive view, accessibility is high and foot-traffic can be heavy, but it is well worth the trouble.
