Royal Springs Park is a free county park in a relatively sparsely-populated area.

The park itself has a handful of picnic tables and grills, outhouses, and a boat ramp offering access to the Suwannee River, though the main attraction here is definitely the large spring.

Flowing up at a constant 72 degrees, the spring fills a large circular pool. At points it can reach a depth of 42 feet, so this park has a 10-foot diving platform that allows swimmers to jump into the emerald blue pool. Locals have also attached rope swings and boards allowing some other daring access points to the pool. Scuba diving is permitted here, though the spring's ideal swimming conditions ensures a crowd of swimmers during the warmer months.

A wooden boardwalk surrounds the spring in a horseshoe shape, and trails go on either side along the short spring run to the banks of the Suwannee River. There are ADA-friendly covered tables adjacent to the boat ramp, though all other parking is in the main lot.

No pets are allowed at the park. Hours vary by season, but are generally sunrise until sunset daily, with the exception of Wednesdays, when the park opens at 11a.m. There are no groceries or amenities near the park. Plan on bringing everything you need beforehand.
