This campground offers various types of sites for a stay at Vogel State Park. All are tucked into the woods a short distance from Trahlyta Lake and very near trailheads. From your camp spot, you can easily get around on foot or bicycle to anywhere else in the park. Cabins next to the lake are also available for rental.

Sites are organized into two main loops with some smaller spurs coming off of them. At first the system is a bit hard to navigate, but signs will help you find your site. Most sites offer ample room to spread out. All are pleasantly shady and reasonably flat. Some sites border the bank of Wolf Creek, the babbling stream that flow out of the the adjacent wilderness area from Blood Mountain.

All sites have electricity and water except for walk-in tent sites and pioneer camping group sites. Every site has a picnic table, a fire ring, and a grill. There are no full hookups, but there is a dump station. Other amenities distributed throughout the campground include restrooms, showers, and trash cans. There is a playground near the camp entrance and another closer to the lake and cabins.

Sites can be reserved or obtained the day of, but either way you must stop and register in the visitor center before proceeding to select a site.
