Kaheka Beach, or Baby Beach as it is more popularly called, is a small relatively hidden beach just down a small flight of steps in a residential neighborhood on Kauai's south shore.

Sheltered from the sea by reef rock, the beach generally gets very small waves, if any, making it a great spot for small kids or those just looking for calm shallow water. The reef comes near shore, so there is only a little water you can walk into in sand, beyond which it becomes a little rough on your feet.

Due to the dark lava rocks around the beach area, the shallow water here remains a little warmer than in surrounding beach areas.

Accessing Baby Beach is via a single cement stairway along Hoona Road. There is very limited parking along Hoona Road - which helps keep the beach free of large crowds, but may mean that late arrivals may not be able to find a parking space here at all.

There are no lifeguards or amenities at the beach.
