Most people drive right on by the turn for Forac Beach Park due to its inconspicuous location within the neighborhood that surrounds it. Locals gather on the flat, white-sand beach for cookouts and to enjoy the sunshine and surf. One of the less frequented beaches of the Waianae Coast of western O'ahu, Forac Beach Park offers a mixture of rocky shoreline to the south and soft sand to the north. The Nanakuli Stream can be seen forming a green lagoon between the dunes of the beach after its long descent from the forest reserve in the mountains above. A short walk down the beach leads you to the larger, more popular beach park, Kalanianaole, formerly known as Nanakuli Beach Park. Freshwater rinse showers and public restrooms are available for use.

Strong currents have been observed in this area. Check conditions before entering the water.
