Proctor Mountain Loop is a 9.3 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Sun Valley, Idaho. The trail is popular amongst hikers and trail runners and features wildflowers, a creek, and aspen groves. Along the climb to Proctor Mountain you will find expansive views of the valley and looking out above Sun Valley, Idaho. This loop is most popular in the spring and summer. 

Parking is available in a turn off/parking area off of National Forest Development Road 51. There is a flowing creek near the parking area that makes for a great post run/hike dip! Sandy shaded spots are also plentiful along the creek and are great spots for a picnic or just a nice relaxing break. 

DIRECTIONS
Mile 0 - Corral Creek Trail
Mile 1.7 - Turn Left on Aspen Loop Trail
Mile 2.8 - Stay right on Proctor Mountain Trail 
Mile 4.3 - Reach bottom of 1st descent at Fairway Road and begin the second climb.
Mile 6.2 - Reach top of 2nd climb and continue on Proctor Mountain Trail.
Mile 6.7 - Stay right at the junction for Proctor Mountain Trail.
Mile 7.7 - Turn right on Corral Creek Trail and follow back to the start.
