Redfish Lake is a destination worth visiting whether you're going for the day or planning to camp at one of the lake's many campgrounds. There is plenty of hiking, fishing, swimming, and rock climbing to keep visitors busy for weeks, but if you can only stop for a day, the day use area at Outlet Campground is the perfect spot.

This sandy beach sits on the northeast side of the 5-mile long lake, offering incredible views of the Sawtooth Mountains. It is often less crowded than the Redfish Lake Lodge, marina, and beaches on the opposite side of the lake.

There are a few picnic tables, a designated swimming area, and diving platforms making this a great spot to spend the day with the whole family. Should you need any provisions, stop by the General Store near the lodge.
