Located in the heart of Sandpoint on Lake Pend Oreille, Sandpoint City Beach Park is a popular spot to enjoy the sunny summer weather in Northern Idaho. With so many options for activities, both in and out of the water, there's something fun for everyone. The park is also a popular spot for festivals and events put on by the local community.

The large sandy beaches stretch the length of the 22-acre park. Some beaches have designated swimming areas with floating docks and staffed lifeguard stations. The park also includes tennis and pickleball courts, horseshoe pits, volleyball court, basketball court, a large playground area, swing sets, a walking/bike path, food concessions, boat launch and marina, restrooms, and free parking.

Picnic tables and benches are scattered throughout the park for people to use. The large picnic area, with multiple tables and barbecue pits, can be reserved through the Sandpoint Parks and Recreation Department. The park is open 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. everyday.
