The Flat Fork Creek Park Trail is an excellent spot for beginner mountain bicyclists to cut their teeth and give mountain biking a try. The trail offers more advanced features, all of which can be easily routed around, allowing beginner and intermediate bicyclists to test and improve their skills. The trail is located in a beautiful, family-friendly park full of amenities. If you are new to mountain biking or just need an excuse to get out and ride, Flat Fork Creek Park deserves a visit.

The trail's advanced features include small whoops, berms, a wooden roller, a wall ride, and multiple skinny lines. All these features are easy to bypass. There is a small rock garden that cannot be bypassed, but in the worst case riders can easily walk their bikes across. The park also has restrooms and potable water. In the past, Indianapolis-based adventure company DNK Presents has offered children’s mountain bike clinics at Flat Fork Creek Park.
