This 5.5 mile out and back is a nature enclosed greenway that crosses through Oak Park and Valleybrooke Park in Overland Park, Kansas. This family friendly trail weaves through a forested area filled with Oak Trees, tall marsh grasses, and wildflowers. If you happen to visit the park in the fall you will find the trail surrounded by and runs parallel to a gently flowing stream. This route is rated as easy, and would be accessible to all levels. This route does require you to cross some major streets, so if you are walking with dogs or children, be careful.

Pack a picnic or bring a book and enjoy one of the picnic tables or peaceful benches along the trail. Street parking is available on many of the surrounding side streets, especially Nieman Road at the south east side of Valleybrooke Park.
