Frenchman's Wilderness Campground

Frenchman's Wilderness Campground is a privately-owned commercial campground and RV park located near the town of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, at the edge of the Atchafalaya National Heritage Area. The campground's 150 sites are all full hookup and are spread throughout three loops on a spacious property with trees and amenities that allow campers and RVs to opt for a space with a relatively private feel. Sites each contain a picnic bench and fire ring along with electrical hookups and water.

The campground offers nightly, weekly, and long-term rates. Additionally, cabins on the property are available for rent. The campground is especially family-friendly. Amenities offered to guests include a swimming pool, showers, coin laundry, a mini golf course, two playgrounds, a boat launch, and an indoor pavilion used for rentals, events and occasional live music. The front desk also has a small grocery and sundries market and pool tables. The campground hosts family-friendly events throughout the year that includes cookouts, arts & crafts events, and haunted houses. There is an RV dump station that is available for people who are not staying at the campground.
