The Sabine Wildlife Refuge Wetland Walkway is a 1.5-mile flat ADA-friendly loop walking trail through marsh wetlands with an observation tower overlooking the wildlife refuge at the far end.

With informational kiosks, covered benches, and water and a bathroom at the trailhead parking area, the trail passes through a freshwater marsh that is inhabited by migratory and native birds along with turtles and alligators. The trail alternates between a cement path and a wide plank boardwalk that is set atop the marsh.

Accessing the trail is free, and it is open daily from sunrise until sunset.

The Sabine Wildlife Refuge Wetland Walkway is a featured part of the Creole Nature Trail.
