Bookended by rocky points, this small pocket beach offers one of the best family-friendly places to enjoy the summer sun. The quarter mile, white sand beach is a great stop for anyone exploring Yellow Head or visiting Pemaquid Point Lighthouse State Park. The beach is combed daily, and the geography of the area creates an environment with little wave action, which is perfect for swimming and wading. On either end of the beach are seaweed-strewn rock outcroppings that offer small tide pools to view at low tide.

The beach is owned and operated by the Town of Bristol and their Parks and Recreation Department. There are many amenities available to the beachgoer. Large shower and changing rooms, full toilet facilities, a snack bar, picnic areas, and even beach item rentals like umbrellas are available.

The beach is open to visitors from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend. There is an entry fee of $4.00 per person. Dogs are not allowed.
