Roaring Point Park is a quiet 0.8-mile beach along the Nanticoke River located in Nanticoke, Maryland.

The shoreline is dotted with the remains of waterlogged trees protruding from the sand, which create an interesting view of the river. Behind the sandy shore is a thick tree line and coastal grass, further adding to the seclusion of this hidden beach. The large trees provide shade throughout part of the day on the shore.

The water of the Nanticoke River at Roaring Point is shallow for the most part, and it is a great way to cool off during the hot summer months. This is an unguarded beach, so keep that in mind when planning a visit with small children. Pets are allowed on the beach.

Roaring Point is also considered a prime fishing and crabbing location due to the relatively untouched environment along the river and a rocky jetty that extends out into the river.

The parking lot is relatively small and has been known to fill to capacity during the summer, so arriving in the earlier or later part of the day is advisable. The only amenity available is a restroom at the trailhead to the beach.
