Cisco Beach is a favorite among surfers. With large rough waves and crystal-clear waters, it’s easy to see why surfing classes are held at Cisco Beach.

Cisco Beach is tucked away behind large sandy bluffs, giving the beach lots of privacy. Thick, soft sand fills the beach, making it nice to spread out your blanket and soak in the sun. However, the soft sand also makes it quite difficult to walk through. With large sand bluffs separating the parking lot to the beach, the easiest way down to the sand is to walk down the metal ramp that combines the two. The downside to the ramp, however, is that it doesn’t go all the way to the beach. There is a gap of maybe a foot and a half from the ramp to the sand, which can make it difficult for older or handicapped individuals. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer months to protect families and surfers in the water. There is ample parking available, but no showers or full-function restrooms are provided.
