Marblehead’s main beach, Devereux Beach, offers over 5 acres of sandy shores for your enjoyment. With the cool waters of the ocean, benches, picnic tables, pavilions, playground and volleyball net, there are endless ways to spend your day at the beach.

Devereux Beach is a soft, sandy beach. There are lifeguards on duty and small ocean waves to keep you feeling safe while enjoying the day with the family.  Should the little ones get tired of swimming, there is a small playground area available right next to the sand. Also available are two covered pavilions that have picnic tables to use for the day or rent out for parties. Devereux Beach's volleyball net is a bonus that not many other beaches have in the area. Available across the road is another small beach where there is a stand that rents out paddleboards and kayaks.

Once you are hungry from playing in the sand and swimming, there is a small beachside cafe, called Neck Run Cafe, where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. Neck Run Cafe offers a variety of dishes including salads, sandwiches, fried entrees and ice cream. There is also seating available inside or out, which can accommodate up to 140 patrons.

There is ample parking available at Devereux Beach, which costs $10 Monday through Thursday and $15 for Friday through Sunday during the summer months.

With its many amenities, Devereux Beach is a great summer destination.
