Peet’s Hill and Burke Park are undoubtedly the most popular year round outdoor spaces in downtown Bozeman. Situated just off Main Street, the 41-acre park has several miles of trails that are part of the Main Street to Mountains Trail System. Peet’s Hill and Burke Park are a trail hub for many mountain bikers, runners, and dog walkers. In the winter, kids and adults alike flock to Peet’s Hill to sled down its steep slopes. In the spring, the hill blooms with colors from native wildflowers. The summer and fall season are the best time for a leisurely stroll or morning run with the dog(s).

From here you’re able to catch a unique perspective of downtown and also expansive views of Gallatin Valley. On clear days, you’re able to see for miles to the Tobacco Roots Range, Spanish Peaks, Hyalite, Mount Ellis, Chestnut Mountain, and the Bridger Range.  The “M” is also on prominent display, and it is the perfect location to catch a phenomenal Montana sunset.
