Angel Creek Campground is a basic campground made up of 12 single sites a short distance from the popular summer destination of Angel Lake recreation area.

At 6200' in elevation, Angel Creek Campground makes a warmer alternative to the higher elevation Angel Lake Campground which sits adjacent to the lake.

Sites here are basic, consisting of a table and fire pit with grill. Most are nestled amongst the aspen grove, offering a fair amount privacy from neighboring sites. There is no water located in the campground, which includes Angel Creek itself which has no significant flow in the campground, making it somewhat of a misnomer.

Angel Creek Campground is located about 8 miles from the town of Wells, just above the Clover Valley floor. The campground stays moderately busy throughout its open season, which stretches from mid/late May to October.

Campers can self pay at the pay station and sign located at the campground's entrance.

Three small vault toilet buildings are spread throughout the campground. There are no Accessible sites here.
