Bird Creek Campground is a US Forest Service-operated campground high in the mountains of the Schell Range of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest.

The campground lies along a single-lane gravel road lying beside Bird Creek. The campground has 10 sites, some of which sit beside a level parking space, while others require a short walk over wooden bridges, that lead to a more private camp site.

Each site has picnic table, fire pit and grill. Site 10, located at the turnaround at the top of the road, is an ADA accessible site.

The historic intake building for the Kennecott Mining Operation is located in the campground, although it's not much to see. Vault toilets and water spigots are located throughout the campground. Water is turned off during the off-season. Those looking for more private spaces should head to sites 7-9.

Aspen trees provide color during the right seasons. There is no trash collection. Two sites are reservable in advance, every other site is available strictly on a first come, first serve basis, with payment made at a self-pay station at the campground's entrance.
