Bob Scott Campground is a small Forest Service campground located at Bob Scott Summit slightly east of the town of Austin, Nevada on Highway 50.
The campground has nine sites as well as a group campsite that can accommodate up to 12 people, and it runs on a first-come, first-served basis. Five of the sites have pull-through parking that is suitable for medium-sized RVs.
The entire campground sits on a short loop road with a central vault toilet bathroom in the center of the campground.
The campground is generally open from mid-May through late-October, depending on conditions, and sees its heaviest usage during elk and deer hunting seasons. Water is available seasonally from several spigots located throughout the campground.
Cost is $10 per site, payable at the self-serve kiosk at the campground's entrance.
Gas and provisions are available in the town of Austin, about 7 miles west of the campground.
