Nevada Beach is arguably one of the nicest and most scenic beaches on Lake Tahoe. The wide, sandy beach stretches for over half a mile and is an excellent place to relax, recreate or just enjoy the views.

There is a $10 entrance fee to drive to the beach and park near the campground. However, those looking to avoid the fee can hike the scenic Lam Watah Nature Trail to reach Nevada Beach for free.

Nevada Beach itself is simply stunning. Large pine trees provide shade near the beach, and there are restrooms and picnic areas here as well. Going for a swim at Nevada Beach is an excellent choice, and during the summer months kayak rentals and food concessions are available.

A small portion of Nevada Beach is also dog friendly, making it a great choice for those with four legged friends.
