With 80 acres of space, open trails, and various recreational opportunities, Zephyr Cove Park has something for everyone. While the park sits right off of Highway 50, it is tucked away in the pines, so you feel very secluded as you explore the trails that weave throughout the forest. The park boasts an enormous amount of exercise and sporting facilities. To the east lies the 80 acres of open space with trails for hiking and horseback riding, a massive disc golf course, and a fitness trail. Walk to the north and you will find six tennis courts, a covered picnic area with a huge grill, a baseball field, volleyball courts, and a playground. If you walk a bit further, you will even find a branch of the Douglas County Library. Across the street from the park lies Zephyr Cove Beach. With so many activities and distractions, you will be hard-pressed to run out of things to do at Zephyr Cove Park.
