The Lake Trail at Northwood Meadows State Park is a short, easy snowshoe that provides views of the lake as well as beautiful sections through the woods. Parking for Northwood Meadows State Park is right off of Route 4 in Northwood, New Hampshire.

From the parking lot, follow Dashingdown Road for 0.5 miles until you reach the Universal Access Trail that takes you to the Lake Trail. The access trail to the Lake Trail will be on the right side of the road, and there is a sign on a tree pointing toward the trail. After 0.2 miles you will reach the Lake Trail, which loops around Meadow Lake. The loop around the lake is 1.2 miles. Follow the trail either way, and return to the parking lot using the Universal Access Trail and Dashingdown Road.

Along the Lake Trail there are a few fishing piers for summer use as well as a picnic table. The trail is mostly flat and smooth the entire way, making it great for groups with a wide range of hiking abilities.
