White Lake State Park is a 902-acre state park in Tamworth, New Hampshire, just south of the White Mountain National Forest, and it offers some of the best swimming in the White Mountain region.

White Lake is a glacial lake that can be used for swimming, non-motorized boating and fishing. White Lake State Park offers a day-use area, group areas, and three campground areas with a total of 185 sites. The lake, surrounding beach area, and walking trails make up the majority of the park. In addition to a well-maintained foot path around the lake, there is also a 72-acre stand of pitch pine within the park that has been designated a National Natural Landmark, and it can be accessed by a walking trail.  During the summer, visitors can enjoy interpretive, nature-based programs presented by Interpretive Rangers and included in the cost of admission. The beach area is very popular on weekends and holidays in the summer, and once the area reaches capacity, additional beach goers cannot be admitted, so plan to arrive early if you want a spot on the beach. Several picnic tables are available near the beach area as well as a playground. Canoe, kayak, SUP, paddle boat, and row boat rentals are available at the park.

Admission fees are $5 for adults, $2 for children ages 6 through 11, and children under the age of 5 and New Hampshire residents over the age of 65 can enter the park for free. Season passes are also available.
